1st off, why use FreeGameCam

You are becoming part of video game history! Simply running FreeGameCam while playing your favorite game will make your mark in video game history. Your game play and identity will never be forgotten and be seen by thousands. Check out the histories of thousands of gamers just like you have been sending live screenshots of their game play since the year 2000. Just take a moment large list of game and their gamers in the left menu who have created new and old memories. Then download FreeGameCam.exe and began recording your history now!

What is the FreeGameCam?

The FreeGameCam "FGC" is actually two things. First it's this site you are at right now. At the site you can see the list of games at the left menu. If the bulb is flashing next to one of the games then it means that someone is currently broadcasting that game live. Clicking the game name and then their name will take you to a page that will show you screenshots / pictures from their game live. The page will refresh with a new image once every 30 seconds.

Second the FGC is a program that you can run on your PC that will allow you to show off the game you are playing for others to watch. It's really easy to run and won't lag your games as long as you have a broadband connection.

Installation:

You will know that you are successfully broadcasting when the window in the FGC shows what you are playing. For most people you will not be able to see the FGC program at the same time you are playing. It will sit behind your game unless you have dual monitors or the game you are playing does not take your entire screen.

When you are broadcasting those people that are watching from the site will be alerted that you are someone to watch because the bulb next to your name will be flashing.

That's pretty much everything you need to know to be able to broadcast.  There are some other features that you can use also.  You can use the FGC as a screen capture tool.  Just put a check next to "Screen capture mode".  The FGC will save every screenshots to the same folder that you have the program running from.  We suggest that the FGC not be on your desktop if you are going to save  screenshots. Instead give it it's own folder.  If you don't it won't hurt anything but you could be surprised hiow fast it will save them and it can fill your desktop.  :) 

Another thing you can do is to use the message area.  Are you running a server and want to give out the address?  Do you want to taunt the people that are watching?  As long as you are not vulgar you can put anything you want here.
